Friday, March 1 7:00 p.m. Congregational UCC Church Behind Poky High on Garfield This critically-acclaimed 2012 Independent Spirit Award nominee and winner at the Newport Film Festival is the first documentary to take a deep and reflective look back at the arrival and impact of the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco, and how it informed the ongoing dialogue around the country and the world as the film speaks to our capacity as individuals to rise to the occasion, as communities come together with love, compassion, and determination in the face of peril. A hauntingly beautiful tribute to an era of tremendous suffering, loss and resilience. All are welcome. Donations are appreciated.
