Based on the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, a mixed race daughter of a British Navy Admiral who is taken in by her great-uncle in 18th century England, breaking both gender and color barriers along the way. The Seattle Times writes, "It's an old-fashioned movie with a very modern streak, centered by a vibrant star whose watchful, wise Dido makes an enchanting heroine." (Rated PG-13) Admission is $2 for the public or $1 for ISU Students.
